Stokes correlation to estimate topological charge from the speckle pattern

The orbital angular momentum (OAM) of the vortex or helical beam, connected with topological charge (TC) has been used as an alternative degree freedom to encode and decode information in optical signals. Many detection schemes have established determine TC configurations at receiver end encoded from transmitter for free space. However, when beam is transmitted through scattering medium, its wavefront spatially scrambled without any direct about incident beam. Here, we propose experimentally demonstrate a new approach estimate non-imaged randomly scattered pattern. technique utilizes Stokes parameters (SPs) random field evaluate higher-order SPs fluctuation correlation. A complete theoretical model presented verified numerical simulation experimental tests. good agreement found between results.
